Pentax have unveiled the latest member to their family, the K-30. The camera features a 16 megapixel sensor, 3 inch LCD display with a 921k dot resolution, and it can record full HD video in 1080p at 30 frames per second or 720p HD video at 60 frames per second. Fundamentally this camera has a tough weatherproofed body that’s resistant to rain, dust and extreme temperatures – which is one of the cheapest cameras to do so, if you go by Pentax’s word. The K-30 is due out in July at $ 850 body-only and $ 900 for an 18-55mm kit.
