“Nothing Was The Same” Is Almost Done
While in Atlanta to perform at the Hot 107.9′s annual Birthday Bash, Drake took the time out to speak about his forthcoming album. According to the rapper, he has already recorded most of the album so hopefully we'll be hearing it soon!
While there have been snippets to listen to in the past, Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) and Mannie Fresh present an entirely finished song in the form of “Black Jesus.” Pulled from the long-rumored and arduously worked on project OMFGOD BK NOLA that pairs the BK emcee with the legendary Cash Money producer, the result is an unexpected mash-up of sensibilities and style.
For those who couldn’t wait any longer for Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience, it seems that your wish may have come true. “Want to hear
#The2020Experience early,” Timberlake tweeted. ”The full album is now available to stream on iTunes.” With only 11 records, the singer found it necessary for each record to be between 5-8 minutes in length; a nice change to the typical 4 minute-or-so record.
The “Suit & Tie” singer will be co-hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon all of this week, where he will perform a new song every night with some help from The Roots.
Listen to JT’s The 20/20 Experience now on iTunes.

Nas continues his interview with MTV where he previously spoke on collaborating with Nicki Minaj to speak on his forthcoming LP, which is tentatively titled Life Is Good.
“A lot of the tracks have [come from ideas] where I would take an idea from one of the guys that I’m working with and try to put it together with a different sound that I had in my head, or with someone else,” he explained. “[I] just try to get people to collaborate who are not really used to working together and to get something different from me.”

During the interview, he announced that he has worked with Fabolous and Yo Gotti on the LP, but also stated that Rick Ross doesn’t want any of the members giving away too much information about the project.
“You know how Ross is, Ross don’t want us to talk about none of that. I didn’t even hear Rich Forever until like two days until it dropped.â€
“We got that under wraps, but the music is good. I know I got records with Fab and Yo Gotti and stuff like that, but we’re going to keep it undercover ‘til it’s time.”
